Trees are the habitat of many woodland or rainforest creatures, and many exotic and endangered species can’t live without them. People cut down outs and lots of trees, which is called deforestation, because we use paper and wood from the trees. This destroys the habitat of animals and plants and it is damaging the environment massively, as a whole range of species live there. It also provided oxygen and takes in carbon dioxide so we can stay alive! To help prevent this, plant trees in a garden or park nearby, research certain animals that live near trees and donate money to help them, use systems like ecosia (a search engine that pants trees worldwide) to help plant trees far away, or just leave out food for birds or small creatures who lose their homes due to deforestation.
Trees and plants are also affected by things like pollution and more. Help save the environment and trees by stopping driving in a car when you could walk, or park further away from your destination and walk the rest of the way. Save the trees!
