Hello again and in this week’s edition of weekly news we have: a story from around the world, a new poll for upcoming posts, and a great idea for the coming Christmas. First, a story from around the world. A new animal species has recently been discovered called the olinguito (bassaricyon neblina). It is a mammal and carnivore from the procynidae (raccoon family) and has orange/brown fur. Part of its scientific name (neblina) means fog in Spanish which refers to it’s cloud forest habitat.
Moving on, Ted and Ellie have been unsure on what the next post should feature. An art post, or a photos post. We will not announce the results of this and instead just post whatever won the poll. Good luck!
Finally, here is a great idea for Christmas- secret Santa! If you don’t know how secret Santa works, a group of people draw each other names from a hat, and anonymously get a present for the person they pick, then leave it on their desk. It’s great fun, and it means everyone gets a present and no one has to pay lots of money for one person!
