Beginner – Five Minutes Each
You Will Need: Colourful Paint, 3 small sheets of card, 1 extra piece of card, Paintbrush, String, Masking Tape.
First, cut small triangles from one end of a spare piece of card. Then, paint 3 of sheets in orange, green and blue, or similar colours, depending on what you have. Drag the cut end of the small piece of card along the orange sheet to create horizontal and vertical lines. You can use other materials or objects to add texture to the other sheets. Finally, when the paint is dry, cut out colourful squares and rectangles to make houses, and glue them together. Attach them all with string and tape.
You Will Need: Different Shades of Blue and White Tissue Paper, Brown and Light Blue Paint, White Paint, a Black Marker, Plain Paper.
First, draw several jagged rocks and a line horizon on a sheet of paper. Then, rip lots of strips of blue tissue paper, and paint the sky with light blue. Next, place the pieces of tissue paper so the overlap but don’t cover the rocks. Paint the rocks with brown paint, including accidental pieces of tissue paper that might have overlapped, and outline with black marker. For the waves, add a strip of white tissue paper and splatter the top with paint. Leave it to dry, and admire your ocean painting!
