Ted just remembered one of our old trips, which we never posted about, and thought ; How about we post it now? I thought it was a great idea, because the Isle of Wight was so fun! Well, in May 2017 in half term, we went to the Isle of Wight for three days, and stayed at a farm. We rode on a ferry to get there, and it took about half an hour. When we arrived we went to our pod, which was a miniature house with three rooms. Me, Ted and Jack slept on the sofa, because there was only one bed, and our other relatives slept there. The next day, we went to the farm and saw all sorts of adorable baby animals, like sheep, goats, cows, and wallabies. We also went to the play area, and had fun climbing on the haystacks, riding on the go karts, and swinging down on the zipwire. We bought dinner from the honesty shop, and went down to the pod to eat. The next day, we woke up early to check if the chickens had eggs or not, and collected a few. Then we played hide and seek at the pod, and found an amazing secret tunnel which led to a garden full of colourful flowers. There was
also a big tree and a pond. We climbed the tree, played more hide and seek, and snuck some food down too. Then we went to the Needles to have and Easter egg hunt, but Ted got too scared to go up to the top, so our friend who was staying at a nearby pod gave him one when we were back. Needles is a cliff, by the way. Later we played more in the garden, and in the play area, then had a barbecue. Jack wasn’t a fan of the barbecue, but ate most of the roasted vegetables instead. I must admit, they were really nice. On the last day, we went for a short trip around the forest, but it started to rain, so guess what? We had a picnic instead! It was almost fun getting soaked. I said almost! Later we went back to our pod and made home made pizza in the pizza oven. It was delicious! Later on, we rode the ferry back home. The trip was so fun!
