Hello again, and Welcome to another issue of Weekly News! All members of staff and the teddies regret and apologise for the delay in Weekly News, which was due to a recent lack of staff. However, it will now be resumed, and more adventure posts will be coming out as well. Anyway, first of all, we have 3 Dangerous Animals that can actually look really adorable! [Ted and Jack had this idea]. 1) Tasmanian Devil: The Tasmanian Devil may look adorable, but it has that name for a reason. Tasmanian Devils have extremely sharp and powerful jaws, and they are nocturnal, with very good coordination, so it is really hard to see them, especially in the dark. 2) Slow Loris: These creatures are so cute, but are also extremely dangerous. Their venomous bite could cause almost fatal consequences, and if you do get bitten, it obviously wasn’t an accident. 3) Hairy Caterpillar: This seemingly harmless caterpillar is actually dangerous, and fluffy! Even if you see it and think, I really want to touch it!, DON’T! It’s “hairs” are actually poisonous stings. It might not be deadly, but you’d probably prefer not to touch it. Next up, we have: some book recommendations: For younger readers, you might want to try Secret Kingdom or Mulberry. Slightly older readers (7 to 11) might want to read The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness, Murder Most Unladylike or The Dreamsnatcher, all recommended by Ellie Bear herself. (Ellie wrote that). Remember, if you don’t have any ideas, look around at a local bookshop or library, and see if anything looks interesting. Finally, we have: a story from around the world: Mayonnaise Ice-cream! In a Scottish shop famed for it’s unusual flavours of ice-cream (as well as the normal ones) a new flavour has been released, and to most it doesn’t necessarily look pleasant. Many people agree that Mayo doesn’t exactly fit in dessert. Those who have tried it, however, have mixed views, some say it’s disgusting, some say it’s not too bad!
