On the 21st December, me and Ellie went to South Africa. For the first five days, we were on Safari, and we saw so many amazing animals, like lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, warthogs, antelope, hippos, rhinos, elephants, ostriches, chameleons, and many different birds. The view was amazing, especially when we rode down a steep slope in the safari jeep. There were also many colorful, exotic plants, and some could be used as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and even toilet paper. I really hope that no one had used it or anything when we touched it! For the next 2 days, we stayed in Simon’s town, and spent most of the time down by the beach with the penguins. Penguins in South Africa. I know. Anyway, we found a secret tunnel which let to a secluded part of the beach, and we spent hours climbing over the boulders. For the final 3 days, we stayed in Cape Town. We went on the hop on hop off tour bus to see the aquarium, the harbor, and most importantly Table Mountain, where the queue for the cable car was so long, it was exhausting to walk from one end to the other. When the holiday was over, we were really sad, but exited to get home too. Here are some pictures of the safari:
