On 15th of October, Ellie, Ted and their mischievous cousin Jack went to an exciting residential trip to Devon! It was a three hour journey, so they got to watch movies and play games on the coach. Even though Ted had slept in in the morning, he was still exhausted and extremely sleepy when they arrived and dragged their heavy suitcases up the steep staircase to their dormitories. Later, they did Aero Ball, where they bounced on trampolines while throwing soft balls at each other, and trying to get it in the hoop. Then they ate an amazing dinner, and eventually, (after approximately three hours of constant talking) fell asleep. Over the next few days, Ted, Ellie and Jack took part in many adventurous activities such as high ropes, where Ellie even managed to jump across the leap of doom, even though she was terrified, which she later admitted was definitely worth it, sensory trail, which was where they completed an obstacle course blindfolded and it turned out to be hilarious, trapeze, where Ted was rooted to the spot on the wobbly wooden pole before jumping off and entirely missing the trapeze, and finally the mud challenge, which was where they scrambled through vaious obstacles while getting drenched with mud and freezing water (This was Jack’s favourite!)Luckily, Ellie had warm clothes on! They also visited the Tuck Shop every evening, and Ted stuffed himself with as many sweets as he could possibly manage! On the last day, everyone had a disco and ate even more sweets. Finally, they set off home, while Jack boasted that he hadn’t been scared at all!
